Running in a Circle

We both started on the starting line with throbbing drumbeat on our hearts,
Immediately, you ran so fast and did all the casts,
didn't know how to start moreover how to react,
You ran so fast and decided to depart.

You ran too fast and finished the first lap,
The spectators shouted to waken me up from my nap,
I wanted to chase you but I lost my way since you brought the track’s map,
You overlapped me and were so close with the victory lap.

Now, both of us are on the final lap,
I just realized how precious this race is and start to flap,
So that I can reduce our big gap,
My hard attempt to reach you makes all the spectators clap.

But, everything seems too late since I couldn't be earlier to wake up,
Would you mind to turn around and pick me up?
We can reach the finish line and together bound,
Unfortunately, you still think that I’m not the real one and only see me as a mock up,
Furthermore, you put and throw myself on the rebound.

Then, you run with another, the one who makes you fall into step,
When running with her, you must watch your footsteps,
Don’t stumble to the ground or do a misstep,
Because I am here alone and left behind,
I won't be there anymore to help you since I am an unkind.

Though I lost the game, I still feel like running in a circle,
No matter how far I have run,
No matter how long you have gone,
I will always go back to the starting point,
To the point where this feeling started and grew bigger as I run around it.

And it keeps going like that,
And so on,
And so forth,
Because… circle doesn't have a finish line,
Hence, I still don’t know whether this feeling could be finished or not.
